How to book your lesson
The gray dates on the booking calendar are available to book. Decide which is your preferred date and time to have a cooking lesson or a kimono experience.
Please if possible give me three different options to make it easier to fit you in.
Decide which kind of Japanese cooking you would like to practice.
Choose one of the food options from the list, and decide if you would like to add sake/shochu-tasting as well.
If you choose a kimono festival experience, make sure you check the dates of the festivals here.
Use the online form for cooking and sake/shochu-tasting or the online form for kimono experience to send me your request.
If you would like to take both a cooking lesson and a kimono experience, please send both forms.
I will send you an email confirming the date and time of our lesson.
I will do my best to accommodate your first preference.
After we have decided the date and time of our lesson, I will send you a bill by e-mail via PayPal.
You can make the payment by credit card if you don’t have a PayPal account.
I will send you a message confirming that I have received payment, and then we are ready to go.
On the day of the lesson, please take the train to Ninomiya station on the JR Tokaido line. Access details are here.
I will meet you there in my car and drive you to the house — it is just a 5-minute drive — where we will have the lesson, followed by the meal!
After the meal, I will drive you back to the station.
